Vapor Blasting

A hybrid surface preparation method which combines the benefits of water blasting with abrasive blasting, the prepared surface not only typically has a lower chloride (salt) level which results in a longer lasting coating system, but also the existing surface profile can be improved upon creating greater overall surface adhesion.

 

Using modern, well maintained equipment in combination with certified, experienced operators is essential for the effective use of this method of surface preparation. Some examples of these methods are included below.
